摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of bucking or undulated defective flatness by providing a holding roll installed at a position to push an outlet side pass line into a deflector roll side on the outlet side. CONSTITUTION:The deflector roll having function applying bent-deformation to a metal sheet 3 and changing the advancing direction to the outside of the surface is placed at the outer side from a virtual contact point of the outlet side pass line 11 to be uniquely and geometrically decided by neglecting the bending rigidity of the metal sheet and the surface of the deflector roll 1. Further, a holding roll 2 is installed at the position to push the outlet side pass line to the deflector roll side. Therefore, the occurrence of undulating or bucking on the metal sheet is prevented and the equipment can be made compact.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the defective brittleness and ductility of surface by obtaining the coefficient of friction and the deformation resistance of a rolling material from rolling conditions during rolling, calculating the highest temperature of the interface inside roll bite, and rolling so that the temperature is made lower than the critical value preliminarily obtained. CONSTITUTION:In the time of cold rolling a material 3 of pure titanium, rolling loads during rolling, velocities of work rolls 1, 1', the sheet velocity at the outlet side of a rolling mill, tension and thickness of the inlet side and the outlet side of the rolling mill are measured. The tension is measured with deflector rolls 6, 7, and the thickness is measured with a thickness meter 5. The coefficient of friction and the deformation resistance of the rolling material are obtained from the rolling conditions containing these data and the diameter, thickness of work rolls, the highest temperature of the interface inside the roll bite is calculated by using the obtained data, the obtained temperature is made to the temperature less than the critical value preliminarily obtained with the experiment and the calculation and it is rolled. Therefore, because the products without micro cracks are obtained and at same time the rolling velocity can be increased until nearby the critical temperature, so the productivity can be improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain an excellent stripping resistance and wear resistance, to extend the life of a roll, and to improve a roll consumption unit by forming a trivalent chrome composite platings layer with a specific thickness, which are obtained by dispersing hard particles, on a nickel-plated layer with a specific thickness, which is formed on the surface of a roll. CONSTITUTION:A trivalent chrome composite platings layer 5 to 20mum thick, which are obtained by dispersing hard particles, are formed on a nickel-plated layer 0.3 to 2mum thick, which is formed on the surface of a roll. The bonding strength of the interface to each of a nickel roll base material and chrome, is higher than that of the boundary of the trivalent chrome to the roll base material. Thus, a nickel-plated layer with a proper thickness enhances the bonding strength (adhesion) of the roll base material and the trivalent chrome composite platings. Consequently, the stripping resistance of the roll treated by the trivalent chrome composite platings is improved. Also, since the trivalent composite platings themselves show a high wear resistance, a roll treated by a nickel-plated layer and the trivalent chrome composite platings layer shows a high stripping resistance and wear resistance.
