    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device capable of making the appearance of an outward projecting opening apparatus simpler. SOLUTION: The opening/closing device 30, which is arranged in a frame body 11, pushes/pulls one end of a sliding screen 20. The opening/closing device 30 includes an operation member 60, a drive unit 31 which is operated by the operation member, and an arm 65 which connects the drive unit and the sliding screen together. The drive unit includes: a first gear 36 which is rotated by the operation member and which has a gear tooth surface shape formed on an outer peripheral surface; a second gear 43 which has a rotating shaft nonparallel to a rotating shaft of the first gear, the outer peripheral surface of which is formed with a gear tooth shape meshed with the first gear and which has a female screw formed on an inner peripheral surface; a rod-like screw 50 which is screwed with the female screw of the second gear in such a manner as to be linearly movable in a face direction; and a connecting means 55 which moves following the rod-like screw and which is connected to one end of the arm.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window opening and closing device for opening and closing a sliding door, by rotating a handle, fixed to a window frame in an openable and closable state with a hanging metal fitting, having a reduced projection amount from the window frame toward inside a room.SOLUTION: A device body 6 extending in the width direction of a window frame 2 has an upper face part 9 arising to the surface of the window frame and a mounting plate part 10 accommodated in the window frame. The mounting plate 10 is surrounded by a bracket 14. The main body 6 has a worm shaft 20 extending in the direction toward inside a room. A wheel gear 25 in engagement with the worm 21 of the worm shaft is fixed to the mounting plate part 10. A rack gear 27 which is in engagement with the wheel gear 25 and reciprocally moves in the width direction is provided in the bracket 14. The rack gear 27 is connected to a sliding door 1 through an output shaft 28, an output arm 30, and an intermediate arm 33.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window open-close device, in which a labor-hour required for manufacture is lowered and cost of which is reduced. SOLUTION: A casing, in which one surface is opened, is fixed onto a window frame. An operating shaft 18, which is penetrated to the closing wall of the easing so that one end section is placed in the casing while being freely rotated around an axis, is installed to the easing. A worm 21a is fastened at one end section of the operating shaft 18, and a worm wheel 13 is mounted into the casing so as to be engaged with the worm 21a. A rotating arm 14, which is turned integrally with the worm wheel 13 and in which at least a part is projected from the opening 11a of the casing, is set up to the worm wheel 13. A sash is opened and closed by the rotation of the rotary arm 14 with the revolution of the operating shaft 18. The casing is composed of a box-shaped main body 10, in which one surface is opened and which is made of plastics, and a reinforcing member 11 fixed into the main body 10 and made of a metal, and the worm wheel 13 is supported by the reinforcing member 11.
