    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid dilution of engine oil by post injection; and to achieve regeneration of a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
      SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control system is provided with an exhaust emission control device disposed in an exhaust gas passage of the internal combustion engine of the type injecting fuel into a cylinder and collecting particulate matters in the exhaust gas, and a regeneration control device for performing regeneration control accompanying post injection for injecting fuel into the cylinder after combustion in order to recover purification capacity of the exhaust emission control device. The regeneration control device is provided with a setting means for setting a regulation value for regulating a fuel injection amount of post injection used for each regeneration of the exhaust emission control device, and a regeneration stop means for stopping post injection when the fuel injection amount of post injection reaches the regulation value within a prescribed period. The setting means sets the regulation value to be smaller in a specified operation region where lubricating oil of the internal combustion engine is easily diluted by the fuel by post injection than in other operation regions.
