    • PURPOSE:To reduce manhour of working by forming a recess in a flat plate stock by the tip having a recessed part of a mandrel corresponding to inner diameter of the barrel and a hemispherical die having a projected part, forming the barrel by rotation of the mandrel and shifting of a spinning roller and forming the barrel of a recessed and bottomed pressure container. CONSTITUTION:A flat plate stock is held between the tip having recessed part of a mandrel X corresponding to inner diameter of the barrel and a die K having hemispherical projected part, and a recessed part is formed in the stock by pressure of an oil pressure cylinder YC. By rotation of a motor M supported by the mandrel X and joints BB, F, R of the die K and shifting of a spinning roller SR in longitudinal direction, projecting part of the stock is drawn to form the barrel A2. Thus, the bottom and barrel of the pressure container is formed from a flat plate stock by loading of one time to reduce manhour and lower the prime cost.

CONSTITUTION:The backup roll 7 is installed for one of work rolls 2, 3, biting the strip 1; two backup rolls 6A, 6B, are installed for at least one of work rolls 2, 3, in front of and behind this work roll in the rolling direction; the crowing parts 6A', 6B', are formed in these two backup rolls 6A, 6B, at their axial ends mutually on the opposite sides; and besides, these backup rolls 6A, 6B are made axially shiftable; the rolling mill is thus constituted. It is also possible to install above stated backup rolls respectively two on every side and to make these four backup rolls axially shiftable. By this rolling mill, the strip with uniform thickness in the direction of the breadth and the good appearance can be manufactured.

The roll 10 is internally provided with the gap adjusting jigs 3, 4, respectively, and the outside of the roll 10 is fixed with the fixing jigs 7, 7', and 8, 8'; and the forming rolls 5, etc., are respectively provided with forming plane (f) with angle theta of inclination 20-70 degrees continuing to the restraint planes e, e, following to clearances d, d, at inner edges of the outer circumference. The secondary forming roll 13 possesses the same rolling direction as the roll 10 so that the rolled material 9 is chamfered without causing the shear droop, and the design and work are easier as compared with the caliber roll of the conventional method.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture the ring body with good finished surface and high dimensional accuracy within a conventional roll working time, by arranging the working device for the outer surface of the blank, so as to keep the same relative position as the travel of the longitudinal reduction roll, and by compositely carrying out the rolling work and the outer surface work. CONSTITUTION:The ring blank 1 is rolled in the radial direction by reduction rolls 23, 24, and is rolled in the longitudinal direction by the cone rolls couple 25. Correspondingly to the increase of the radius owing to the rolling, the outer surface of the blank 1 is detected by the detecting roll 26, and an instruction is given to the traveler 29 by the position detector 27 and the position-set- and-control device 28 for detecting roll; hereby, the cone rolls couple 25 is controlled so as to occupy the suitable position. The housing 30 as the stand of the cone rolls couple 25 and the frame 37 as the stand of the cutter are made commonable; hence, the cutter is simultaneously traveled with travel of the cone rolls couple 25, and is stopped at the necessary position of the blank 1. Since the working position in the tool is previously settled, the cutting is started just the moment of the end of rolling for giving the necessary size of outer diameter to the blank 1, and then, the working is finished.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture the good shaped ring body free from the under-fill at high accuracy and at high yield of material, by roll forming entire surface of the ring body using a pair of rolls for radially roll forming and more than three rolls for roll forming in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:When the rolling blank for the ring body 23 is carried into the ring body rolling mill, the roll 25, roll 26 and roll 27 are respectively driven to rotate, and also, the roll 24 and the axially rolling roll housing 38 are radially moved toward the roll 25; and then, the radial rolling for the ring body 23 is started by the roll 24 and the roll 25. Since the roll 28 is held at the specified height from the beginning, the rolling for the portion (b) of the ring body 23 is started almost simultaneously with the start of radial rolling by the rolls 24, 25. Besides, when the portion (e) of the ring body 23 contacts with the roll 25, this is detected by the sensing tip 57, and the reduction due to the roll 27 is started by the control signal owing to this detected value; hereafter, the rolling for the portion (a) of the ring body 23 is carried out as far as the specified position; hererby, all portions a-f are roll formed by the rolls 24-28.
