    • PURPOSE:To accurately and simply perform a die matching in a press in which both male die and auxiliary female die are used for the forming of an article having in part an extremely small R part, in reference to a hydraulic press forming machine by which a thin plate is formed. CONSTITUTION:A male base 3 having a male die 3' is installed on the lower surface of the slide 1 of the press, and meantime, a hydraulic chamber 4, of which the auxiliary female die 10 is bolted on the bottom and the upper face is opened, is attached to the upper surface of a bolster 2. An upper blank holder 5 is arranged so as to enclose the circumference of the male die, and by means of a plural number of post 6 that is fixed on the base, the positioning and the vertical movement is guided. On the outer circumference of the holder 5, guide plate 11 is arranged vertically in plural numbers, and is slidingly in contact with the outer circumference of the patch plate 12 attached to the outer circumference of a lower blank holder 9 which is set on the upper surface of the hydraulic chamber at the time of lowering. In the hydraulic chamber, a fluid is filled from a supply device 18, and simultaneously, the male die 3', holder 5, 9, hydraulic chamber 4 and auxiliary female die 10 are positioned accurately with one another by the post 6 and the guide plate 11.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a hydraulic material, which is used for forming, from sticking to a forming material, to prevent the forming material from being taken out with the hydraulic material stuck to it and to improve workability, in reference to a hydraulic press forming machine by which a thin plate is formed. CONSTITUTION:After forming dies like a male base 3, a hydraulic chamber 4, etc., are attached and fixed in the slide 1 and a bolster 2 of the press respectively, the forming material 9 is arranged on the upper surface of a lower blank holder 8. The fluid to be used is a mixture of an adequate amount of a thickener, rust preservative and surfactant with water. By the effect of the surfactant, the surface of the forming material is hardly wet even when the surface is brought into contact with the fluid during forming. The fluid 10 is filled in the hydraulic chamber by a supply device 12. An adjusting apparatus for supply and forming pressure may be an ordinary water and oil pressure apparatus since the mixed quantity of the thickener is small and the viscosity of the fluid is low. The press thus structured is operated to lower the slide and push down the forming material the tip end part 3' of the male die; consequently, the fluid pressure in the hydraulic chamber is raised, and the forming material is press-formed in the shape of the male die.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance or the like of a sintering material at a high temp., in a sintering material for a tool constituted of hard perticulate matters of cubic BN or the like and a metallic compound series bonding phase by preliminarily coating the hard perticulate matters with a film contg. metals in the bonding phase components. CONSTITUTION:Hard perticulate matters 1 of cubic boron nitride, diamond or the like and bonding phase component 3 selected from the nitrides, borides and carbides of metallic elements or their combined compounds (e.g. TiN) are prepd. Then, the hard perticulate matters 1 are coated with a film 2 of the same components as the bonding phase components (e.g. TiN film) or is coated with a film 2 of a compound other than that of the metallic elements in the bonding phase components. Next, the hard perticulate matters 1 coated with the film 2 and the bonding phase components 3 are mixed to manufacture a sintering material for a tool. In this way, because the surface of the hard perticulate matters 1 is coated with the film 2, the adhesion between the hard perticulate matters 1 and the bonding phase 3 improves, and as a result, its sinterbility improves, by which a cutting tool or the like to be manufactured shows high wear resistance.

    • PURPOSE:To form a product having plural formed parts different in diameter to each other by setting all pitch intervals made by projecting parts and recessed parts on the respective form-rolled surfaces to the pitch interval of the form- rolled surface surface which forms a formed part having the largest diameter. CONSTITUTION:When a form-rolled product W having plural formed parts 2,3 different in diameter is formed, the dies 10,20 are used which formed other form-rolled surfaces 12,22 through the pitches of a projecting part and a recessed part formed on form-rolled surfaces 11,21 to work a formed part 2 having the largest diameter. When the stock W1 is form-rolled, the stock W1 is rolled along the dies 10,20 based on large diameter part 2 receiving relatively strong restraint from the dies 10,20. Consequently, when the stock W1 receives plastic working in rolling contact along the working surfaces of the form-rolling dies 10,20, the stock W1 moves surely so that the stock W1 and the dies 10,20 take prescribed positions, does not shift and can work a form-rolled product W with high precision.
