CONSTITUTION:A video information detecting part 5 is constituted of a white peak detection circuit 8 to detect the white peak of a luminance signal, a black peak detection circuit 9 to detect the black peak of the luminance signal, and an information quantity detection circuit 11 to detect the information quantity of every luminance level of the luminance signal. A signal processing circuit 14 executes arithmetic operation on the basis of these video information by using fuzzy inference, and generates a control signal to control the video signal. Accordingly, the adjustment to make a picture easy to see in which the white paint-out of a bright part existing in a small number is not caused even if the luminance level is heightened when the picture has been dark thus far, and on the contrary, even if the luminance level is lowered when the picture has been bright thus far, the black paint-out of a dark part existing in a small number is hardly caused can be executed automatically.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the color saturation correction of chrominance signals corresponding to gradation correction by a simple circuit without interference by performing control at the circuit for simultaneously correcting luminance signals and the chrominance signals. CONSTITUTION:The luminance signal inputted to an input terminal 16 is delayed for delay time in a luminance signal correction circuit 1 to which the luminance signal is simultaneously inputted at a delay circuit 6 and the delay time of a correction luminance signal and the luminance signal at a subtractor 11 are subtracted together to be outputted as a correction amount. Then, it is defined as prescribed gain at a gain control circuit 14 and is subtracted from the output of a constant voltage source 13 at the subtractor 12. It is inputted to an LPF 10, high-frequency components to be the interference are band-pass limited and only low frequencies are outputted. The output is added to a contrast control voltage and a color control voltage at an adder 9 and outputted to a chrominance demodulation circuit 5. At the circuit 5, by the output voltage of the adder 9, the amplitude of carrier chrominance signals from the input terminal 17 is changed and color difference signals R-Y, G-Y and B-Y are outputted, added to the luminance signals at a matrix circuit 3 and outputted to a CRT 4.

CONSTITUTION:A chrominance carrier signal for one vertical scanning period is inputted from an input terminal 100. The chrominance carrier signal is inputted to an adder 11 and added to a delay signal outputted from a 1H delay element 1 delayed by one horizontal scanning period. A contour signal component with a large level is eliminated from a signal B outputted from the adder 11 at a limiter circuit 8 and a vertical contour signal component with a level lower than the limiter level and a noise component are outputted. On the other hand, the vertical contour component signal E of the luminance signal is inputted to a gain coefficient control section of a coefficient device 10, and when the vertical contour component of the luminance signal exists, the gain coefficient K of the coefficient device 10 is decreased and when the vertical contour component of the luminance signal does not exist, the gain coefficient K of the coefficient device 10 is set to a prescribed value.

CONSTITUTION:R, G, and B signals inputted to terminal 101 to 103 pass white peak clipping circuits 106 to 108 and are inputted to a cathode-ray tube 122. After being detected by beam current detecting circuits 115 to 117, the beam current flowing to the cathode ray tube 122 is converted to detected voltages by detecting resistances 125 to 127. Detected voltages are inputted to comparators 118 to 120 and are compared with the reference voltage of a reference power source 124. White peak clip voltages inserted to switches 109 to 111 are changed in accordance with comparison results. Meanwhile, a control signal generating circuit 121 generates a white peak control period signal by a horizontal blanking signal and a vertical blanking signal to control operations of switches 109 to 111 and comparators 118 to 120.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate waveform distortion in a video signal synchronizing part by inputting a signal obtained by clamping the sync chip voltage of an input video signal into some reference voltage to the 1st differential amplifier, further inputting it to the 2nd differential amplifier after it is DC-shifted and adding it to the outputs of both differential amplifiers. CONSTITUTION:The 1st amplifier sets resistances 29 and 30 and constant current sources 31 and 32 in order to amplify the input video signal without distortion, and turns out to be an amplifier with a wide dynamic range. Accordingly the 1st amplifier can obtain a waveform signal the same as an input waveform 23 in terms of its output current signal, as a waveform (c) shows. Since both inputs have waveforms as shown by waveforms 28 and 33 in the waveform (b) in the amplifier 19 whose dynamic range is narrow, the output current of the amplifier 19 can be switched between a sync chip level and a pedestal level, and turns out to be a waveform as a waveform (e) shows. The output current signals of both amplifiers are mixed by the resistance 30 to become a waveform as a waveform (e) shows, thereby obtaining an excellent video signal (f) without sync reduction.
