摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate fH/8 offset by generating a signal of (fSC+ 40fH+fH/8) by using a signal of (40fH+fH/8) and a signal of fSC during recoding and reproduction of a PAL system signal. CONSTITUTION:A chromaticity signal is inputted from a switch 3, a horizontal synchronizing signal from a terminal 13, and a head switch pulse from a terminal 27. A frequency dividing circuit 34 divides the frequency of the horizontal synchronizing signal by 321, and a VCO35 oscillates at 321fH. A frequency dividing circuit 36 divides the output frequency of the VCO35 by two to supply a signal of 160fH+fH/2 to a frequency dividing circuit 16, which outputs an accurate 40fH+fH/8 signal. A VXO22 compares the phase of a burst signal from a switch 21 with that of a PD23 to oscillate at fSC. Consequently, the output of the VXO22 and that of a four-phase shifting circuit 18 are multiplied mutually by a multiplying circuit 19 to obtain an accurate offset of fSC+40fH+fH/8 from a BPF20.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for precise adjustment and to stabilize operation by multiplying a continuous wave oscillating in vicinity of one frequency of the burst signal, by an input color signal, and reducing and converting a burst signal. CONSTITUTION:A color signal inputted from an input terminal 1 is supplied to a burst gate circuit 4, where only a burst signal is separated by burst gate pulses inputted from an input terminal 2. This burst signal is multiplied at a multiplying circuit 9 by a continuous wave which is inputted from an input terminal 11 and has, e.g. a 4336MHz single frequency. Through this multiplication, the R-Y signal component of an SECAM signal is band-converted into an about 30kHz signal, and the B-Y signal component into an about 180kHz signal. Those outputs are separated by a frequency selecting circuit 10 into the B-Y and R-Y signals, which are passed through a detecting circuit 6, a frequency selecting circuit 7 having the center at fH/2 (about 7.8kHz), and a rectifying circuit 8, so that a discrimination output appears at a terminal 3.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate bad influence exerted on an input signal of a load circuit, by connecting the load circuit whose freqnecy charactersitics are different, to each transistor output of a differential amplifier, and also providing a transistor (TR) between the collector and a load of a TR of a signal input side. CONSTITUTION:At the time of picture recording, a color video signal from an input terminal 57 is supplied to an AGC circuit 19, and is impressed to an LPF 21 from an IC external terminal 20 through a TR 58 from the collector of a TR 2. The collector of the TR 58 is grounded like AC by the base-collector floating capacity, influence of the LPF 21 is absorbed by the TR 58, and does not appear in the base side of the TR 2, therefore, influence of the LPF 21 is not exerted on a monitor output of a transistor 3. At the time of reproduction, a demodulating circuit 27 operates and the AGC circuit 19 does not operated, but a signal leaks by the base-collector floating capacity of the TR 2, but it flows into the ground terminal by the base-emitter floating capacity of the TR 58, and does not appear in the external terminal 20.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain excellent AGC performance independently of waveform distortion of a video signal, by controlling a discharge circuit with a peak detection output of a synchronizing signal and outputting a key pulse for automatic gain control based on the output of a discharge circuit. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal is obtained via a variable gain circuit 5 and a synchronizing signal separation circuit 6 and applied to a peak detection circuit 1. The circuit 1 and a minute constant current discharge circuit 2 sample a peak potential of the synchronizing signal and a discharge drop is produced at the non-sampling period. The output is compared with a reference potential at comparators 11 and 13, logical product is taken at an AND circuit 14 to obtain a pulse not including the front edge of the back porch of the video signal. The pulse is applied to a detected signal generating circuit 8 as the key pulse.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a receiver side to display characters such as emergency information together with a video image without the need for expanding/ decoding once a digital video signal to be sent to the receiver side that has already been high efficiency compression coded by a transmitter side. SOLUTION: A multiplexer 110 of a transmitter multiplexes a digital information signal expressing characters that are generated by an information stream generator 107 and to which N-stages of priority information is added onto a digital video signal and a digital audio signal and transmits the multiplexed signal to a receiver. Then the receiver discriminates whether or not a character denoted by the digital information signal is to be displayed on the basis of the priority information added to the digital information signal and displays the characters denoted by the digital information signal together with a video image expressed by the digital video signal when discriminating that the characters are to be displayed.

Then, they are serial/parallel-converted and an unnecessary high frequency component is eliminated through a low pass filter 10. A PCM sound signal which is digitally encoded modulates a carrier which is phase-shifted by 90 degrees through a phase shifter 11 in a digital modulation circuit 12. The output is added in a first adder 4.
