    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shifting path control method of a 6-speed automatic transmission having at least five speeds by realizing multiple gear shift speeds in which not only the successive gear shifts but also more multiple skip shifts can be performed to enhance the gear shift responsiveness. SOLUTION: If release elements of a preceding gear shift speed and a finally determined gear shift speed are identical, the preceding transmission control is performed, and one-shift skip control is performed to the finally determined gear shift speed only when the applicable condition is satisfied. If the release elements between the preceding gear shift speed and the finally determining gear shift speed are different from each other during the skip shift, waiting is performed without performing the preceding gear shift speed control for a predetermined time, and one-shift skip control to the finally determined gear shift speed is performed only when the applicable condition is satisfied.     • PURPOSE:To make each gear-shift timing possible to be set individually, by connecting a 4-2 timing valve to a 2-3 shift valve, while bypassing the 4-2 timing valve by means of the 2-3 shift valve in time of 4-3 gear shifting. CONSTITUTION:A port 122k of a 2-3 shift valve 22 is connected to a port 123b of a 4-2 timing valve 23 via an oil passage 452. In case of 4-3 gear-shifting, the 2-3 shift valve 22 and the 4-2 riming valve 23 both are selected to an up position shown in a left half while a 3-4 shift valve 24 is also selected to a down position shown in a right half, respectively, and line pressure passes a passage which bypasses an orifice 660 and is fed to a clutch C3. In case of 4-2 gear-shifting, each of 2-3, 3-4 shift valves 23 and 24 is selected to the down position, while the line pressure is fed to the clutch C3 by way of the orifice 660. Therefore, the individual setting of each gear-shift timing comes possible to be done.
