    • PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a computer and to rapidly output a diagnostic result by providing a plurality of detectors or detection items and always monitoring the interior of machinery at a usual time by one of them and performing precise diagnosis by the other when abnormality is detected. CONSTITUTION:The detectors 10, 20, 30 connected to analysers 40, 50, 60 are provided and the detector 10 is always selected as a monitoring one. For example, if the detector is a partial discharge pulse current detector, a detection level, a phase and a frequency band are provided as detection items. The detector 10 monitors the interior of machinery on the basis of the detection items and, when abnormality is detected, the interior of the machinery is precisely diagnosed by the other detectors 20, 30 using the detection items thereof. Herein, according to a purpose and necessity, the detector 20 or 30 can be also always selected as the monitoring one. Since the detection items of the detectors are selected to perform monitoring as mentioned above, load such that a computer 70 always processes a signal is reduced, and the rapid judge of abnormality and a rapid order can be issued.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the generation of corona discharge, to know a size of a projection of the cause of the generation by an operation, and also, to detect the existence of a free grain by an acoustic detector by analyzing a corona discharge voltage and comparing it with a characteristic which has been stored in a storage part. CONSTITUTION:A gas insulating apparatus 1 is provided with a discharge detector 10 and an acoustic detector 11, and its output is inputted to a signal analyzing part 12. An output of the analyzing part 12 is inputted to a diagnostic part consisting of a memory 13a for storing temporarily data, a standard pattern store part 13b for storing standard date, and an abnormality deciding part 13c for comparing the patterns of the memory 13a and the pattern store part 13b and deciding the abnormality. Also, said apparatus is constituted so that an alarm of a trip signal is outputted by a command part 15 by a result of said diagnosis, and the result is outputted by a display part 16. In such a way, the generation of corona discharge and a size of a projection of the generation cause can be known, and the existence of a free grain can also be detected.

SOLUTION: The alternator for vehicle has a stator 202 for outputting an AC voltage and a rotor 302 having a field coil and a rotor core.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the space factor of a stator coil in the slot of the stator and to form a magnetic path surely around the rotor and the stator coil.
      SOLUTION: The core comprises an annular outer core, and an inner core where a plurality of slots for winding the stator coil periodically open to the outer circumferential side, and teeth provided between the slots of the inner core are coupled on the inner circumferential side by means of a nonmagnetic member such as resin. Since the stator coil is not inserted from the inner circumferential side of each teeth of narrow width but can be inserted from the outer circumferential side, space factor of the stator coil in the slot of the stator can be enhanced. Furthermore, since a magnetic path is not formed easily on the inner circumferential side of each teeth because of a nonmagnetic member such as resin, the magnetic path can be formed surely from the rotor to the outer core.
