    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the unbalanced impedance, etc., of a V-connection transformer by reducing the difference between the ambient temperatures of the upper and lower coils of the transformer, by constituting the first- and second-phase windings of the transformer with serially connected primary windings and serially connected secondary windings, and housing the primary and secondary windings in one container. SOLUTION: An upper transformer 1 is constituted of equally constituted coils 12 and 13 and a core 11. A coil support supports the coils 12 and 13 and fixes the coils 12 and 13 in the vertical direction. The core 11 is fixed in a state where the core 11 is passed through the annular rings formed of the coils 12 and 13. A lower transformer 2 has the same constitution as the upper transformer and is composed of coils 22 and 23, a core 21, a coil support, and fasteners. The transformers 1 and 2 are arranged with the transformer 1 on the top side and the transformer 2 on the bottom side, so that the coils 22 and 23 can be respectively positioned below the coils 22 and 23. The end sections of the coils 12 and 13 are respectively connected to a U-phase terminal and a W-phase terminal, and the end sections of both coils 22 and 23 are connected to a V-phase terminal. Therefore, the temperature-dependent phase-to-phase characteristic unbalance of a V-connection transformer can be suppressed.
