摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lubricating fluid of a radial dynamic pressure bearing from flowing out of the bearing by providing lubricating fluid flowing-out preventing grooves on the sleeve side and shaft side of the end-side cylindrical section of the bearing. SOLUTION: A lubricating fluid flowing-out preventing groove 20 which becomes narrower in width as going down is formed on the lower section of the shall-diameter cylindrical section 17 of the radial dynamic pressure bearing section of a shaft 7. In addition, another lubricating fluid flowing-out preventing groove 21 which becomes narrower in width as going down is formed on the surface of the shaft 7 at the position facing the groove 20. The groove 21 inhibits the flowing down of a lubricating fluid leaking out downward from the dynamic pressure bearing by utilizing the surface tension of the fluid, and the groove 20 inhibits the flowing down of the lubricating fluid by utilizing the centrifugal force and surface tension of the fluid.

The thickness of the adjusting plate is in such a thickness as the surface roughness of the contact surface of the seal casings 15A, 15B with seal rings 16A, 16B is maintained in an optimum condition and the axial gap 18 of the seal rings 16A, 16B is an optimum value. Where the contact surface of the seal rings 16A, 16B with the seal casings 15A, 15B is machined, it is possible to keep the axial gap 18 of the seal rings 16A, 16B at the optimum value by reducing the thickness of the adjusting plate 23 by the cut-off length by means of machining.
