    • PURPOSE:To increase the recording density on a recording medium and to realize a large recording capacity by preventing the vibration of a spindle motor to improve rotating accuracy while reducing the thickness and size over the entire part of the device as far as possible. CONSTITUTION:A reduced diameter part 7a at the bottom end of a stationary shaft body 7 is fitted into a fitting hole 2a penetrating a base plate 2. The reduced diameter part 7a and the base plate 2 are fixed by laser beam welding. A cylindrical member 8 is erected on the base plate 2 on the outer peripheral side of the stationary shaft body 7. The respective fitting projecting parts 12a, 12b of a ring member 11 are fitted into the peripheral spacing of the outer peripheral part 14b1 of core teeth 14b of a stator core 14 to each other. The annular base part 14a of the stator core 14 is fitted and fixed onto the cylindrical member 8 and the rear surface of the ring member 11 is pressed atop the base plate 2. The base plate 2, the cylindrical member 8, the annular base part 14a, the core teeth 14b, the ring member 11 and the stator coil 16 are integrally fixed by packing adhesives 17.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a motor wherein, even when a rotor magnet is not skew- magnetized, a cogging torque is reduced; vibrations and noises are reduced thanks to the high rigidity of a stator core and a coil which has been molded in advance can be used as a stator coil. CONSTITUTION:A tsator core 10 is composed of a ring-shaped yoke part 12 and a core tooth group part 14. Individual core teeth 16 for the core tooth group part 14 are composed of radial-direction parts 16a and of circumferential- direction expansion parts 16b which are faced with a rotor magnet 18 at outer end parts of the radial-direction parts 16a. The individual radial-direction parts 16a are arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction, the circumferential-direction expansion parts 16b of the adjacent teeth 16 are continued in the circumferential direction via thin parts 16c at boundary parts. A molded coil 20 which has been aligned and wound in a square pillar shape and fixed is fitted externally as a stator coil in the radial direction parts 16a of the individual core teeth 16. The ring-shaped yoke part 12 is fitted and fixed at the inner circumferential side of the radial-direction parts 16a.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain the vibration of a motor to a low level as a whole when the motor is turned. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum die-cast housing 10 is passed through a through hole 12 through the inside of a cylindrical protrusion 10a and the inside of a ring-shaped protrusion 10b. A fixed support 30 in which a flange part 30a protrudes from the outer circumferential part at the lower end and which is made of an iron-based material is force-fitted into the through hole 12 from the lower part. The lower part of the fixed support 30 is fitted into, and fixed to, the inside of the through hole 12 by a stationary fitting operation. The ring-shaped surface at the flange part 30a of the fixed support 30 is brought into close contact with the ring-shaped rear edge of the cylindrical protrusion 10a. The cylindrical protrusion 10a is set to a state that it is connected to the flange part 30a of the fixed support 30 in the shaft-line direction, and the strength and the rigidity of the fixation of the housing 10 to the fixed support 30 are increased.

    • PURPOSE:To measure the characteristics of a bearing in the state mounted on a rotary device. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus 20 for measuring the mounting characteristics of bearing 13,14 is equipped with an external vibration cut-off mechanism 21 supporting a rotary device 10 having the rotary body 15 supported by the bearings 13,14 and preventing the transmission of external vibration to the rotary device 10, a pre-load applying mechanism 22 applying pre-load to the rings of the bearings and characteristic measuring devices 23,24,25 measuring the characteristics of the bearings 13,14. External force is applied to the rings of the bearings 13,14 provided to the rotary device 10 by the pre-load applying mechanism 22 to preliminarily remove the backlash (gap) in the bearings 13,14. Thereafter, the rotary device 10 is placed on the external vibration cut-off mechanism 21 so as not to receive the effect of the vibration from the outside to rotate the rotary body 15. The deflection and vibration of the bearings during the rotation of the rotary body 15 are measured by the characteristic measuring devices 23,24,25.
