摘要： PURPOSE:To avoid a trouble such as forming a communication path in excessively large size by forming the communication path between intake ports by drill work from the lower surface side of a cylinder, in the case of decreasing a valve layout angle in the two intake ports. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder head 1, two intake ports 3, 4 and two exhaust ports 5, 6, opened to a cylinder 2, are arranged in the periphery of a nozzle mounting hole 7. In each intake port 3, 4, each inlet 8, 9 is connected to an intake manifold simultaneously with a valve seat respectively mounted to each outlet 10, 11 opened to the cylinder 2. In the above structure, in the case of decreasing a valve layout angle of each intake port 3, 4, a communication path 12 between the intake ports 3, 4 is formed by drill work from the lower surface side of the cylinder 2. In this way, the necessity for a conventional port core is eliminated, thus a trouble such as excessively increasing size of the communication path 12 from restriction of the core is avoided.

Thus, a rocking fulcrum of the rocker lever 12 is changed according to the rotational speed and the load, etc. of the engine to thereby control a lift timing, that is, a fuel injection timing.

Also, the rotational angles of respective pulleys 16, 18 are set such that each peak of supercharging pressure pulsation coincides approximately with the timing of changing over the intake valve of a predetermined cylinder from opening to closing.
