摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission diversity system applicable to a CDMA communication system, with a simple structure and reduced manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A received signal includes first and second communication bursts. The first and second communication bursts are transmitted on different antennas from the same base station with the same time slot, to have the same data with the same sequence. A data detection unit is configured to process the received signal with a first channelization code associated with a first transmission antenna, to generate first data and also configured to process the received signal with a second channelization code associated with a second transmission antenna, to generate second data. The first and second data are the same data. The first and second channelization codes are mutually different, and are exclusively used for transmission through the first and second antennas.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for reducing latency for recovery from communications errors.SOLUTION: A message is transmitted as a first message portion transmitted at a first power level, and a second message portion, which is associated with the first message portion, transmitted at a second lower power level. The first power level is chosen to provide a predetermined probability that the first message portion will be successfully received. Alternatively, the first and second message portions are transmitted such that the first message portion has a greater energy per bit than does the second message portion. At a first time, the first message portion is received. At a second time, which has a known relationship to the first time, a signal is received from which the second message portion is not reliably obtained. A receiving device recognizes that the second message portion was not properly received and requests retransmission of at least the second message portion.

摘要： An apparatus for receiving reverse link signals from a plurality of subscriber units in a multi-path environment is described. The apparatus includes a receiver in a base station that receives a first plurality of reverse link signals and a second plurality of reverse link signals in a time interval. Each reverse link signal of the first plurality of reverse link signals is derived from at least a common pseudo noise (PN) sequence and unique orthogonal sequence and each reverse link signal of the second plurality of reverse link signals is derived from a unique pseudo noise (PN) sequence. The apparatus also includes a a processor that determines a timing offset associated with at least one reverse link signal to align a timing of the at least one reverse link signal with reverse link signals from other subscriber units.

The control program is used with a wireless detector and comprises a feature that controls display, a feature that identifies a signal associated with a subject, and a feature that displays information in response to the identification feature. Security features can also be incorporated.
