    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a proof strength against collision load, simplify a structure and attain a small-sized fuel pipe fitting structure.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a fitting structure for fitting a fuel pipe 2 for supplying fuel to a plurality of injectors 7 arranged in rows to form rows of injectors at a cylinder head 3. The fuel pipe fitting structure comprises: the fuel pipe 2 extending in parallel with the rows of injectors and supported at the cylinder head through a connecting part 31 connected to an internal combustion engine main body; and a protection member 50 connected to the cylinder head at a base part 52 and in turn extending to cover a side of the fuel pipe opposing against the cylinder head and having an extremity end 59 forming a free end. When it is assumed that a direction perpendicular to each of an axial direction X of the injector and an axial direction Y of the fuel pipe is defined as a direction Z, all the connecting segments are arranged at one side in the direction Z in respect to the axis of the fuel pipe and all the bases are arranged at the other side of the direction Z in respect to the axis of the fuel pipe.
