    • PURPOSE: To provide an overrunning clutch for correctly and easily performing absorption of shock torque, namely, setting of the maximum transmitting torque. CONSTITUTION: The outer cylindrical part 3a and the inner cylindrical part 5a of a one-way clutch are fixed independently from each other on the internal gear and the center case of a planetary gear transmission mechanism respectively, a wedge groove 3 for housing a rolling body 3b in either one of the inner circumferential surface of the outer cylindrical part 3a and the outer circumferential surface of the inner cylindrical part 5a, and a locking recessed part 5e for locking the rolling body 3b in the other one of the inner circumferential surface of the outer cylindrical part 3a and the outer circumferential surface of the inner cylindrical part 5a. By such a way, a torque value given when the rolling body 3b is released from its diameter small recessed part 5e can be surely set by only setting the depth of the locking recessed part 5e. And also since both forces in radial direction locking in respective opposite directions on both cylindrical part 3a and 5a while sandwiching the rolling body 3b are reduced, strengths of both cylindrical parts 3a, 5a can be reduced, and reduction of both weights of cylindrical parts 3a, 5a can be realized. Since torque is not transmitted by frictional force, reduction of abrasion can be realized.

    • PURPOSE:To precisely control a generating amount by containing a semiconductor switch element in a container provided near the exciting winding of a body case of a generator, and controlling the exciting current by the instruction of a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A generator body 11 has 3-phase stator windings 12 and a rotor exciting winding 13, the outputs from the windings 12 are full-wave rectifier by a rectifier 14, and produced from an output terminal 15 to charge a storage battery 16. A controller 18 of an exciting current flowed to a rotor has a semiconductor switch formed of a power transistor 19a and a diode 19b, contained in a vessel, provided in a section near a rotational shaft outside of a generator case for containing the body 11, and reduced at the voltage drop near the rotor exciting winding 13. A signal from a microcomputer, not shown, is supplied to a terminal 25, thereby controlling the semiconductor switch. In this manner, an error due to the voltage drop is prevented, thereby accurately controlling the generating amount to the variation in a load. This is adapted for a vehicle generator.

    • PURPOSE:To permit high-speed rotation and to attempt the improvement of noise reduction and cooling efficiency by arranging two centrifugal fans having shorter inside diameter than the inside diameter of a stator at both sides of pole cores wherein a pair of bearings are provided at the part locating at the internal circumference of blades. CONSTITUTION:Cooling fans 8, 8' having shorter diameter than the inside diameter of a stator are fixed at both sides of pole cores 6, 6' by maintaining the same direction of a shaft. Ahd each fan blade 8a, 8a' is closely contacted to the cores by facing to the opposite direction to the pole cores. Blades 8a are formed with the same number of nails as that of the core 6a. The other blades 8a, are formed with any plural number of nails corresponding to the quantity of wind. Furthermore, the blades 8a of the fand 8 are of a rhombic flow type inclining to the front in the rotary directions so that cooling wind may be fed inthe cores 6, 6' to cool a rotor coil 7. In this way, high-speed rotation and noise reduction will be permitted. Furthermore, cooling effect will remarkably be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To cool both a stator coil and a rotor coil excellently by installing a fan having the same number of blades as the number of the pawls of pawl core at the end-surface of the pawl core, and providing an air exhausting hole in the housing of the external surface of a stator core. CONSTITUTION:The cooling fan 21 having the blades 21a is installed at one end surface of a pawl core 19. The number of the blades 21a of the cooling fan 21 is the same as the number of the pawls 19a of the pawl core 19. The angle between the end surface of the pawl core and the blades 21a is so selected as to become the angle other than 90 deg.. The stator coil 15a is arranged at the outer periphery of the cooling fan 21, and the hole 13b for exhausting the cooling air is provided through a housing 13 at the location covering the stator coil 15a. In this constitution, the cooling air which has entered through an air inlet hole 14a cools the rotor coil 20. Then the air is exhausted via the cooling fan 21 and the stator coil 15a. Therefore, the cooling effects for both coils can be enhanced.
