    • PURPOSE:To fix a heat transmission pipe and a metallic sleeve without causing leak by inserting a metallic sleeve having a fine particle-shaped welded layer on the outside surface, into a rejected part of a heat transmission pipe of a heat exchanger, expanding a pipe and adhering a metallic sleeve tightly, and executing brazing. CONSTITUTION:A metallic sleeve 2 is provided with a groove (a) for containing a brazing material, on its end part, and a fine particle-shaped thermal spraying layer (b) is provided by a thermal spraying from the lower end part of the groove (a) to the center side of the sleeve 2. The metallic sleeve 2 which has installed a brazing material 3 to the groove (a) is installed to a position covering a rejected part (c) of a heat transmission pipe 1 of a heat exchange pipe. Subsequently, a pipe is expanded by applying a pressure 4 to the thermal spraying part (b), and the inside surface of the pipe 1 and the outside surface of the metallic sleeve 2 are adhered tightly and held. Next, the brazing material 3 is heated so as to become higher by about 30-50 deg.C than a melting temperature by a heating device 5. In this way, the brazing material 3 is melted, flows in between particles of the fine particle-shaped thermal spray layer (b) by a capillary phenomenon, and uniform brazing can be executed.

    • PURPOSE:To enable accurate copying of a weld line in seal welding superposed part at the tip of a short tube inserted into a large diameter tube, by specifying the shape of groove at the end of the short tube and support of a torch, and performing groove copying by change of arc voltage. CONSTITUTION:A short tube 2 is inserted into a large diameter steel tube 1, and the part (a) is seal welded. For thickness (t) of the tube 2, angle of 45-70 degrees is formed leaving a root l of several mm.. The W electrode 4 of a welding torch 3 is placed on the extension of the root l. Change of set height (m) of the torch 3 is prevented by a copying roll 6, and the torch 3 can be moved parallel to inner face of the tube 2 by rotating mechanisms 9, 10 through a connecting arm 8. The torch 3 is moved to X, Y axes by travelling trucks 13, 14 and to Z axis (right angles to the weld line) by a slide 11 controlled by arc voltage. Further, by rotating a motor 12 normally and reversely by arc voltage, it is possible to make it follow the groove face at all times.
