    • PURPOSE:To improve use efficiency of a fuel by completely separately supplying a gaseous fuel and water which is necessary at the time of reaction. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell is comprised of a means to supply a gaseous fuel from one side of a fuel electrode and a means to supply water in liquid-state which is necessary at the time of reaction from the other side of the fuel electrode. Methanol in gas-phase is supplied as a gas to a catalyst layer 4 of a fuel electrode from a gasified fuel supplying route 11. Meanwhile, water which is needed to decompose methanol is permeated through a cation-exchange membrane 3 from a water-supplying route 10 and supplied from the opposite side to the methanol supplied side. Methanol and water are thus supplied completely separately to the catalyst layer of a fuel electrode and reaction is carried out. As a result, even when the working temperature of the fuel cell is lower than boiling point of water, current density lowering owing to liquification of the fuel does not occur and a direct-type fuel cell with high use efficiency of the fuel is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To detect a torque non-contact at a high sensitivity, by arranging one magnet of a magnet couple set in proximity to an amorphous member of a shaft in opposite polarity as opposed to the other magnet thereof while a Hall element for torque detection is arranged almost at the center of the magnet couple. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 21 is provided to receive torque, an amorphous foil 22 as set at a part to receive a torsion of the shaft 21 and a magnet couple is arranged in proximity to the amorphous foil 22. Then, a magnetic flux is changed passing through the amorphous foil 22 according to the size of the torque and the size thereof is detected with Hall elements 33-35 from change in the magnetic flux. One magnet of magnet couples 31 and 32 faces the other magnet at a fixed interval and the N pole of one magnet is arranged to face the S pole of the other magnet while the Hall elements are arranged almost at the center of the magnet couple.

    • PURPOSE:To perform torque detection with small variance by using stripped amorphous magnetic bodies which are formed at constant intervals on the surface of a plate on the same periphery of a rotary shaft and has plural values. CONSTITUTION:A torque converter 2 is coupled with the output shaft of a transmission 20. A plate 1 made of a nonmagnetic material is coupled by bolts 23 and 24 interposed between a crank shaft 22 and a converter 21. The twelve amorphous layers 2 which have a center angle of 25 deg. are formed on the surface of the plate 1 facing the side of the shaft 22 radially on the rotary shaft on the same circumference at constant intervals. End parts of the exciting magnetic pole piece and detecting magnetic pole piece of a torque sensor 3 are fixed tightly to the amorphous layers 2 and when torque is transmitted to the plate 1, a voltage is induced across the winding of the detecting magnetic pole piece and inputted to a differential amplifying circuit 6 to perform torque detection with small variance.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the error of a measuring flow rate by comparing a film type resistor with a temperature compensating resistor which have equal characteristics under the same condition by a comparator and feeding back the output of the comparator. CONSTITUTION:When an air flow rate is increased, the temperature of the film type resistor 7 is dropped, the resistance value of the resistor 7 is dropped, and then the ground voltage V1 of the resistor 7 is reduced less than the ground voltage VR of the temperature compensating resistor 8, the conductivity of a transistor (TR)94 is increased on the basis of the output of the comparator 93. When the air flow rate is reduced and the temperature of the resistor 7 is increased, the resistance value of the resistor 7 is increased, V1>VR is formed and the current is reduced. Consequently, the heating energy of the resistor 7 is reduced and the output voltage V0 of a voltage buffer 95 is simultaneously dropped. Consequently, the temperature of the resistor 7 is fed back so as to be fixed against the external temperature and the voltage V0 indicates the air flow rate.
