    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device for a motorcycle capable of changing the regulation value of the back torque with a simple work.
      SOLUTION: The clutch device for the motorcycle includes a clutch part 3, a clutch center 14, first and second pressure plates 4, 15, a back torque limiter mechanism 6, and a nut 23. The clutch center 14 is connected to the clutch part 3, and the second pressure plate 15 is connected to a shaft of a transmission. The back torque limiter mechanism 6 is provided between the clutch center 14 and the second pressure plate 15 attachably/detachably to/from these members, and regulates the transmission torque of the clutch part 3 to the predetermined value or smaller when the back torque is generated. The nut 23 is provided to fix the second pressure plate 15 in the axial direction with respect to the axis of the transmission, and arranged not to overlap the first pressure plate 4 in the radial direction.

      SOLUTION: A ring member 62 has an inner peripheral surface brought into slide-contact with an outer peripheral surface of one cam plate 30 out of paired cam plates 30, 50 ; 30, 57, which are included in at least one of the assist means 24 and the slipper means 25. The ring member 62 is fixed to a clutch inner 18A. An oil discharging passages 76 for guiding oil to a slide-contact portion between one cam plate 30 and the ring member 62 are formed in outer peripheral edge portions of concave cams 51 formed in one cam plate 30.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a cam plate to a clutch inner not to be deviated in a circumferential direction, without increase in the number of parts and increase in weight and cost, in a multi-plate clutch device including at least one of: an assist means enhancing a pressure-contact force of driving friction plates and driven friction plates by a pressure plate, in torque fluctuation on an acceleration side; and a slipper means reducing the pressure-contact force in torque fluctuation on a deceleration side.
      SOLUTION: At least one of the assist means 24 and the slipper means 25 has a pair of cam plates 30, 50 opposed to each other in an axial direction. One cam plate 50 is inserted into and engaged with the clutch inner 18A not to be relatively rotated. A snap ring 55 engaged with one cam plate 50 is installed to an inner periphery of the clutch inner 18A to prevent relative movement in the axial direction with respect to the clutch inner 18A of one cam plate 50 on a side detached from the other cam plate 30.
