The resin gas G generated with the foaming member Wb being melted at this melting time is difficult to leak to the outside because the molten opening part of the surface skin part Wa is hardly opened like a sawing machine seam, so one part is injected to the surface but the majority is filled up in the cavity after burning of the foaming member Wb and stuck to the inner wall of the cavity after cooling.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding quality inspection method and a device therefor capable of performing the quality inspection of laser welding at high precision with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In laser lap welding, a light receiving apparatus 4 receives laser reflected light 1b from a boundary wall face between a keyhole 6 formed at the laser irradiation position 5 of the metal 2 to be welded and a molten pool formed on the backside in the welding progression direction of the keyhole 6, i.e., the tip wall face 7 of the molten pool.
