摘要： A piston has a piston body with a pair of pin bosses having pin bores aligned along a central axis. The pin bores have bearing surfaces, wherein at least one recess extends axially across at least one of the bearing surfaces. A groove extends partially about the bearing surface circumference and is arranged in fluid communication with the recess. The recess and groove provide a lubrication feature to the pin bore, while the bearing surface has an uninterrupted portion for enhanced load carrying capacity.

摘要： An impeller (50) for pressurizing an intake air (I) of an engine (E) is provided on a left side end portion (44a) in a supercharger rotary shaft (44) of the supercharger (42). The power from the engine (E) is transmitted to a second sprocket (96), which is provided on a right side end portion (65b) of an input shaft (65) of a speed increaser (54), through a chain (84) to thereby allow the supercharger (42) to drive. The second sprocket (69) is removably fitted to the input shaft (65) by means of a bolt (102). The supercharger rotary shaft (44), the input shaft (65), the second sprocket (96) and the bolt (102) are all accommodated in a supercharger casing (56). The supercharger casing (56) has a right side end face formed with an access opening (105) through which access can be made to the second sprocket (96) and the bolt (102) from an axial direction.
