    • In a suspension for a steerable wheel of a motor-vehicle, with a semi-virtual steering axis, the wheel support (M) is connected to the vehicle structure by an upper arm (B) and two lower rods (A1, A2), one of which (A2) supports the lateral loads, whereas the other (A1) supports the longitudinal loads and is located forwardly with respect to the rod (A2) which supports the lateral loads. In a condition of non-steered wheel, the articulated joint (S5) which connects the lower rod (A1) which supports the longitudinal loads to the wheel support (M) is located more outwardly, i.e. is spaced more far away from the median longitudinal vertical plane of the motor-vehicle with respect to the articulated joint (S6) which connects the lower rod (A2) which supports the lateral load to the wheel support (M). The arrangement is such that during steering with a wheel being on the outer side of the curve, the point of intersection of the projections on a horizontal plane of the two lower rods (A1, A2) is displaced more inwardly, causing a less inclined orientation with respect to the vertical of the steering axis of the wheel. In the condition of steered wheel, with said wheel being on the inner side of the curve, the projections on a horizontal plane of said lower rods (A1, A2) meet at a point (AX') displaced longitudinally forwardly with respect to the position (AX) of this intersection point in the condition of non-steered wheel, so that the steering axis, in a lateral view, forms a caster angel (”) with respect to the vertical direction which is greater than the value of the same angle in the condition of non-steered wheel.

    • A motor-vehicle wheel suspension comprises a wheel support (K) connected to a supporting structure (F) of the motor-vehicle by a plurality of connecting elements, including a lower oscillating arm (W), a damper unit (D), an upper oscillating rod for camber control (C) and a vertical articulated rod (R) having an upper end (R1) pivotally connected to the wheel support (K) and a lower end pivotally connected to the outer end of the lower oscillating arm (W). The suspension further comprises a toe control oscillating rod (T) which has an inner end (T1) pivotally connected to the supporting structure (F) and an outer end which is pivotally connected to the wheel support (K) around the same axis (VI) around which the upper end (R) of the vertical rod (R) is also articulated. The articulation of the outer end (T2) of the toe control rod (T) to the wheel support (K) and the upper end of the vertical rod (R) comprises an articulation axle (60) rigidly connected to said upper end (R1) of the vertical rod (R) around which the toe control rod (T) is articulated. On the articulation axle (60) there is rigidly connected an eccentric cylindrical member (61) which is rotatably mounted within a cylindrical cavity (K31) formed in the support (K) and having an axis eccentric with respect to the articulation axle (60). On the articulation axle there is also rigidly connected an adjustment ring (G), whose rotation determines a variation in the position of the wheel support (K) and a resulting variation of the wheel toe angle, without modifying the position of the ends of the toe control rod (T).
