摘要： The present subject matter relates to antenna systems, devices, and methods that provide efficient coverage of low frequency bands (e.g., 700 MHz-bands and 600 MHz-bands) for the new generations of mobile communication. For example, a dual-resonant radiating system can include a ground plane, a radiating coupler spaced apart from but in communication with the ground plane, and a ground plane extension in communication with the ground plane. In this arrangement, one or both of the radiating coupler and the ground plane extension are tunable to tune a dual-resonance frequency response.

For a two-port network connected between a first port and a second port, a method can include defining an equivalent PI network including a first equivalent network element in communication with the first port, a second equivalent network element in communication with the second port, and a third equivalent network element connected between the first port and the second port. A linear passive load can be connected to the second port of the two-port network, currents through the linear passive load, the second equivalent network element, and the third equivalent network element can be measured, and a load impedance of the linear passive load can be determined based on predetermined values of a voltage at the first port and a voltage at the second port.

A tunable component can include a fixed actuator electrode positioned on a substrate, a movable actuator electrode carried on a movable component that is suspended over the substrate, one or more isolation bumps positioned between the fixed actuator electrode and the movable actuator electrode, and a fixed isolation landing that is isolated within a portion of the fixed actuator electrode that is at, near, and/or substantially aligned with each of the one or more isolation bumps. In this arrangement, the movable actuator electrode can be selectively movable toward the fixed actuator electrode, but the one or more isolation bumps can prevent contact between the fixed and movable actuator electrodes, and the fixed isolation landing can inhibit the development of an electric field in the isolation bump.

For example, a tunable filter having an input node and an output node can be selectively tunable to define one or more pass bands associated with one or more first signal bands and one or more reject bands associated with one or more second signal bands. The tunable filter can be configured to pass signals having frequencies within the first signal bands between the input node and the output node and to block signals having frequencies within the second signal bands. Furthermore, the tunable filter can be configured to selectively tune the pass bands to have a minimum pass band insertion loss at any of a variety of frequencies, including frequencies that are greater than and less than frequencies within the reject bands.
