摘要： A tyre includes a carcass structure including at least one carcass ply and a belt structure including at least one belt layer. The carcass ply includes a plurality of metallic cords. Each of the metallic cords includes a plurality of strands. Each strand of the plurality of strands includes a plurality of filaments having a diameter between 0.06 and 0.15 mm. The strands are disposed so as to form a cord structure having a cross section in which a substantially circular layer of outer strands is disposed around a central strand.

摘要： Tyre for motor vehicles, provided with a belt structure (3) interposed circumferentially between the carcass (2) and the tread band (4), and comprising at least one pair of belt plies (5,7) radially superimposed on each other and extending axially substantially by the same amount as said tread band. Each ply (5,7) has a plurality of cords (6,8) orientated obliquely with respect to the equatorial plane of the tyre and in opposite directions, and a reinforcing layer (10) radially external to said at least one pair of belt plies (5,7), having reinforcing elements (11) which are substantially parallel to each other and parallel to the equatorial plane. The reinforcing elements (11) of the 0° layer comprise single metal wires preformed according to a given preforming ratio, which have a high elastic modulus and a considerable elongation at low stresses.

摘要： A tyre (100) for heavy load vehicle wheels comprises a carcass structure (100a), a belt structure (105) arranged in a radially outer position with respect to the carcass structure (100a), a tread band (106) arranged in a radially outer position with respect to said belt structure (105). The belt structure (105) comprises a plurality of reinforcing cords (11), wherein each cord (11) comprises a core (12) made of non-metallic material, and a plurality of metallic wires (13) substantially parallel to one another and helically wound around said core (12) with a predetermined winding pitch. The metallic wires (13) are arranged around said core (12) so that, in any cross section of the cord (11), they are located at just an angular portion of an ideal circumference that circumscribes the core (12). The cord (11), when subjected to variable loads of between 10% and 40% of the ultimate tensile strength thereof, undergoes an elongation that varies according to a curve having, in a load-percentage elongation graph, a linear correlation coefficient lower than about 0.990, the points of said curve being interpolated by a straight line having an angular coefficient lower than about 30. Said reinforcing cords (11) can be provided in in a stone-guard layer (105d) and/or in the main belt layers (105a, 105b) of the belt structure (105).
