    • The present invention relates to a combined vehicle brake which has a hydraulically actuable driving brake and an electromechanically actuable parking brake device, wherein, in a brake housing, a hydraulic operating pressure space is bounded by a brake piston which is chargeable with hydraulic pressure medium in order to carry out normal braking, and therefore, in order to obtain a braking action, the brake piston is actuable along a longitudinal axis of the piston, and wherein the parking brake device acts on the brake piston by means of a gearing by the gearing converting the rotational movement of an electromechanical actuator into a translation movement and bringing about an actuation of the brake piston in order to carry out parking brake operations and keeping said brake piston in the actuated position, wherein the gearing has a threaded spindle and a threaded nut which are in contact with each other via a plurality of rolling bodies. In order to achieve greater overall efficiency of the parking brake device with a simultaneously lower electric power consumption, it is provided according to the invention that the axial bearing (13) is connected in series to a further axial bearing (15) which acts only during the release operation of the parking brake device and is configured in such a manner that the frictional moment transmitted by the further axial bearing (15) is higher than the returning torque of the threaded spindle (9), the returning torque being generated by the rotation-translation gearing (8).

    • The invention relates to a hydraulic vehicle-brake, particularly for motor vehicles, comprising a brake housing (1) wherein a hydraulic operating pressure chamber (7) is defined by a brake piston (6). When in a tightened state, the brake piston can be locked by means of a locking device whose locking is enabled by means of a relative movement of a power transmission element (2). A working accumulator unit (10) is provided, said unit being formed by a lockable accumulator pressure area (9), an accumulator piston (11) which defines the accumulator pressure area and at least one spring element (12) which is supported on the accumulator piston. In order to carry out a parking braking process, the locking device is activated by means of an electromagnetic or electromechanical actuator (3,33) which arrests the power transmission element after a hydraulic pressure build-up, such that relative movement is possible between the accumulator piston and the power transmission element.
