    • An empty bag supply method and apparatus first lifting up with a first suction member (4) an empty bag (2) of which bag bottom being in contact with and positioned by a first positioning stopper (18). The lifted bag (2) is then held by chucks (35, 62) and transported upwards so that the empty bag is vertical with the bag bottom facing upward, and then a second suction member (6) suctions the empty bag near the bag mouth and transports it onto a conveyor (14) with the bag mouth facing forward, so that the bag mouth of the bag is stopped and positioned by a second positioning stopper (49). The empty bag is then lifted up by a third suction member (9), held by a chuck (35, 62) and transported upward so that the attitude of the bag is changed to vertical with the bag mouth facing upward, and then the bag is transferred to a gripper (1) of a packaging apparatus.

    • The invention relates to a yarn supply system (L), especially for a shuttle loom, having at least one yarn supply device (F) comprising a storage element (7) and a wind-up element (6) as well as a rotating drive (5) for generating a relative rotational movement between the storage element and wind-up element so as to form a yarn supply (S) on the storage element which supply consists of coils. When the yarn (Y) is to be used it can be unwound from the storage element overend. The system also comprises yarn control and monitoring devices (B, 19, 20) arranged on the yarn supply device and a nozzle device (D) which is integrated into the yarn supply device, has at least one air outlet (22, 24, 24") for a directed air jet (J) and is connected to a compressed air supply (B). The air outlet (22, 24, 24") is directed towards the unwinding area (A) of the yarn supply device (F) and an interrupter device (CD) is provided for upstream of the air outlet for intermittently activating individual air jet blasts.
