    • The invention relates to a two-drum winder for winding material to be wound, said material being fed in a divided manner, onto multiple winding cores, comprising two axially parallel support rollers (1, 2), which form a bearing (3) for each roll (4) formed by a winding core and the material to be wound and one supporting roller (2) of which is arranged in an adjustable manner with respect to the other supporting roller (1) by means of a movement, and comprising guiding devices (15) for laterally fixing the multiple winding cores, each guiding device being connected to a machine element (21) in order to carry out a movement which is guided in a forced manner, wherein the element transmits a movement variable of the adjustment of the at least one adjustable supporting roller (2), as an adjustment mechanism, to the guiding device (15). The two-drum winder also comprise a loading roller (15) which is guided on the guiding devices (15) and which presses the roll (4) onto the bearing (3) formed by the supporting rollers (1, 2) with an adjustable force. The loading roller (2) can be loaded via a cross-beam (9) which is movably arranged on a horizontal guide (32) at each end. The horizontal guides (32) are arranged on slide plates (33) at both sides, said slide plates being mounted in guides (34) in a height-adjustable manner and being coupled so as to be synchronized.
