    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupled sleeper having a function required as a turnout sleeper without greatly increasing its weight by skillfully combining a concrete block sleeper with an iron sleeper.
      SOLUTION: The coupled sleeper comprises the PC sleeper and the iron sleeper 1 fastened to the PC sleeper. The iron sleeper 1 consists of a first structural member 2 and a second structural member 3, and the first structural member 2 is fastened to the PC sleeper via the second structural member 3. The first structural member 2 has a plane upper side portion 4 and a plane lower side portion 5, and it has an approximately H-shaped cross section with a vertical side portion 6 continuously formed in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper for connecting cross central portions of an upper side and a lower side together. The second structural member 3 is open at its lower and front face sides, and its upper face side, left side face, right side face and rear face side are blocked with an upper face member 8, a left side face member 9, a right side face member 10 and a rear face member 11, respectively. The rear face member 11 of the second structural member 3 is connected to the approximately H-shaped end face of the first structural member 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt fastening structure capable of being simplified and surely carrying out a detent function.
      SOLUTION: In this bolt fastening structure, a rail 1 is fastened to a floor board 2 with bolts 3 and nuts 4. Through holes 15 for inserting bolt shafts and heads are formed at the floor board 2 to which the bolt heads are fixed, and circumferences of the through holes 15 are cut corresponding to the shape of the bolt head, to form the recessed portions 16 capable of allowing the bolt heads to be rotated in the nut fastening direction or the nut unfastening direction on shaft centers of the bolt shafts with the symmetric shape on the shaft centers through the through holes 15. The recessed portions 16 formed by being cut corresponding to the shape of the bolt head are formed in a state of partially remaining the circumference of the through hole 15, and thus the recessed portions 16 can allow the bolt head to be rotated in the nut fastening direction or the nut unfastening direction at an angle of less than 180 degrees on the shaft center of the bolt shaft.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt fastening structure that can surely attain a rotation stop function by simple structure.
      SOLUTION: A floor plate 2 fixing a rail base of a railroad rail 1 includes a through-hole 15 allowing the insertion of a bolt head from above, and a recess 16 allowing the rotation of the head around an axis of a bolt shank at the rear face side of the through hole 15. The recess 16 has a depth for settling the bolt head within the thickness of the floor plate 2, and a notch allowing the rotation of the bolt head at an angle smaller than 90° in a nut fastening direction around the axis of the bolt shank. The bolt head inserted in the through-hole 15 is rotated in the nut fastening direction along the inner wall surface of the recess 16 around the bolt axis. The bolt head is thereby engaged with the notch part of the recess 16 and inhibited from being pulled out in the axis direction.

      SOLUTION: This wheel guard apparatus includes a stationary part 5 fixed to a sleeper 2 between the main track rails 3; a movable part 7 which is supported on a horizontal pivot shaft 6 arranged on the stationary part 5 and which can pivot around the pivot shaft 6 toward the center of the track; and a guard rail 12 held parallel with the main track rails 3 at a position remote from the pivot shaft 6 of the movable part 7. The guard rail 12 includes an outer retaining part 17 to prevent the wheels from derailing toward the inside of the main track rails 3 and an inner retaining part 18 to prevent derailed rolling stock from deviating toward the outside of the track.

The centering clamps 9a and 9b each have a link mechanism capable of clamping both side surfaces of a rail fastening device for the track rail; the positioning mechanism has expansion/contraction devices 27a and 27b which can arrange a core bit directly above the drilling position by horizontally moving the core drill unit; and the anti-lift clamp has at least a pair of clamp members 42 which can protrude/recede, and which is composed of the clamps for the right and left sides, capable of abutting on the rail jaw part of the track rail from the outside.
