    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derailment preventing guard for avoiding trouble in safety by easily setting itself outside a working range for compacting roadbed ballast or outside a working range for a rail reconditioning vehicle or a maintenance vehicle.
      SOLUTION: The derailment preventing guard comprises a guard member 3 arranged in a gauge in parallel to main track rails 1, 1 and a supporting member 6 fixed to a sleeper 4. The guard member 3 is held by a holder 8 which is turnable on the sleeper 4 between the side of the main track rail side and the inside of the gauge with a center shaft 7 as a turning center supported by the supporting member 6. The holder 8 is turned on the sleeper 4 to the side of the main track rail 1 with the center shaft 7 as the turning center, and the supporting member 6 is locked to the holder 8 with a bolt 12. After removing the bolt 12 therefrom, the holder 8 is turned on the sleeper 4 to the inside of the gauge with the center shaft 7 as the turning center to set the guard member 3 inward from the gauge.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel guard apparatus having both a function capable of easily changing a guard rail between a wheel derailment prevention position along a main track rail and a retreating position apart from the main track rail and a function of preventing a wheel derailment and of guarding wheels so that a vehicle does not largely derail even if the wheels are derailed.
      SOLUTION: This wheel guard apparatus includes a stationary part 5 fixed to a sleeper 2 between the main track rails 3; a movable part 7 which is supported on a horizontal pivot shaft 6 arranged on the stationary part 5 and which can pivot around the pivot shaft 6 toward the center of the track; and a guard rail 12 held parallel with the main track rails 3 at a position remote from the pivot shaft 6 of the movable part 7. The guard rail 12 includes an outer retaining part 17 to prevent the wheels from derailing toward the inside of the main track rails 3 and an inner retaining part 18 to prevent derailed rolling stock from deviating toward the outside of the track.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeper drilling apparatus which can drill an existing PC sleeper under a laid state.
      SOLUTION: A truck is equipped with an ascendable/descendible core drill unit, the leading end of which has core bits 23a-23d for drilling, a pair of centering clamps 9a and 9b which are composed of clamps for right and left sides and used for centering the center of the sleeper, and a positioning mechanism for determining a drilling position. An anti-lift clamp for preventing the lift of the truck during the drilling is annexed to the truck. The truck can move on a track rail. The centering clamps 9a and 9b each have a link mechanism capable of clamping both side surfaces of a rail fastening device for the track rail; the positioning mechanism has expansion/contraction devices 27a and 27b which can arrange a core bit directly above the drilling position by horizontally moving the core drill unit; and the anti-lift clamp has at least a pair of clamp members 42 which can protrude/recede, and which is composed of the clamps for the right and left sides, capable of abutting on the rail jaw part of the track rail from the outside.
