摘要： A sealing film is used for sealing a solar cell, and including an EVA film formed of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. The sealing film has concavities formed by embossing. A percentage defined by VH/VA×100% is in a range from 20% to 50%, wherein VH is the total volume of the concavities per unit area of the sealing film, and VA is the apparent volume of the sealing film which is the product of the maximum thickness of the film and the unit area.

An adhesion reinforcing layer(s) is interposed between the facing sheet and the backing sheet at the joining region and made from a thermoplastic resin provided that an insulating layer is interposed in the adhesion reinforcing layer at a region ranging from a position corresponding to an approximately center of the outer peripheral joining region toward the inside thereof. The facing and backing sheets and the adhesion reinforcing layer are heat-welded together at the outer peripheral joining region.
