SOLUTION: The golf ball includes carbon nanotubes and/or fullerene in one or more of a core and layers for covering it. One or more kinds of carbon nanotubes such as the carbon nanotube, carbon fiber, or carbon nanohorn are used for the core or an intermediate layer. The fullerene can be used for a cover in addition to the carbon nanotubes. Since the carbon nanotubes are contained in the core or the intermediate layer, a crack arisen inside the ball is hardly propagated, so as to provide the ball with excellent durability.
