    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a compression force, in a tunnel axis direction, acting on a segment of a shield tunnel.SOLUTION: A steel segment 1 comprises main girders 2a, 2b, joint plates 3, 3, a skin plate 4, a longitudinal rib 5 and a stopper mechanism 6. The joint plate 3 connecting terminal portions of the main girders 2a, 2b with each other are divided into two joint plate members and between these members, a joint connecting plate is interposed. The skin plate 4 is divided into two skin plate members and a cover plate is disposed to cover a gap between these members. The longitudinal rib 5 connects the main girders 2a, 2b with each other between the joint plates 3, 3. One end of the stopper mechanism 6 is connected to the main girder 2a and the other end thereof has a clearance of a predetermined distance L between the other end and the main girder 2b. In the case where a compression force in a tunnel axis direction acting on the steel segment 1 is a predetermined value or more, the longitudinal rib 5 is buckled plastically to absorb the compression force. When plastic buckling of the longitudinal rib 5 is advanced and the stopper mechanism 6 is brought into contact with the main girder 2b, the stopper mechanism 6 supports the compression force.

Then a bearing portion 3a is set at an end on the external course side of the precast floor slab 3, so as to form the ascending gradient in the tunnel axial direction and borne by the additional brackets 5 on the external course side, and a bearing portion 3b is set at an end on the internal course side of the precast floor slab 3, so as to form the descending gradient in the tunnel axial direction and borne by the additional brackets 5 on the internal course side. Further an upper surface of the precast floor slab 3 is formed into a twisted surface so as to continuously connect between the end on the external course side forming the ascending gradient in the tunnel axial direction and the end on the internal course forming the descending gradient.
