    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure between rings of a segment capable of reducing the number of joint hardware arranged on a joint surface between the rings to reduce cost and provided with a mortise requiring no special reinforcing bar for reinforcement.
      SOLUTION: This joint structure 1 divides the performance for sharing load in such a way that the joint hardware 4 shares tensile performance and a partial mortise 3 shares shearing performance. The tensile performance is the performance required at assembly time and demanding only aseismatic performance to reduce the number of joint hardware 4 partially and achieve economical joint structure. A shearing key having a gentle angle of the partial mortise 3 is provided in the vicinity of the center of height of the segment to reduce the number of reinforcing bars to cope with occurrence of crack.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a segment ring which enables a plurality of the segment rings to be installed along a curved shape of a curved section of a tunnel when installed in the curved section of the tunnel while being joined to one another, and enables the meandering of the segment rings to be corrected with ease.
      SOLUTION: The plurality of segment rings 1 are installed in the curved section of the tunnel in such a manner as to be adjacent to one another in the axial direction of the tunnel. The segment ring 1 is assembled by installing a plurality of segments 2 while joining them to one another in the circumferential direction of the tunnel. A taper 1a which is inclined in a direction crossing the axial direction of the tunnel is formed on the pit mouth-side jointing surface of each of the segment rings 1. A plurality of male joints 3 and a plurality of female joints 4 which are fitted to each other are provided at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction of the segment ring 1 on pit mouth-side and face-side jointing surfaces of each of the segment rings 1, respectively. The number of the provided female joints 4 is larger than that of the provided male joints 3. The male joint 3 and the female joint 4 are fitted to each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure of a ring joint surface of a segment capable of preventing occurrence of crack and chipping due to jack thrust and increasing height of a segment beam slightly when deciding height of the segment beam by jack thrust.
      SOLUTION: This reinforcing structure 1 is constituted by forming a clearance 5 between a pressure receiving face 2b other than a steel plate 4 for reinforcement and a jack 3 for excavation due to the contact of the jack 3 for excavation with the steel plate 4 for reinforcement installed on the pressure receiving face 2b with which the jack 3 for excavation of a shield tunnel on the ring joint surface 2a of the segment 2 comes into contact while the steel plate 4 for reinforcement protrudes from the joint surface 2a. Consequently, it is possible to prevent occurrence of crack and chipping of the segment 2 and prevent leakage of water by the steel plate 4 for reinforcement. When height of the segment beam is decided by thrust of the jack 3 for excavation, the height can be reduced.
