    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure of a ring joint surface of a segment capable of preventing occurrence of crack and chipping due to jack thrust and increasing height of a segment beam slightly when deciding height of the segment beam by jack thrust.
      SOLUTION: This reinforcing structure 1 is constituted by forming a clearance 5 between a pressure receiving face 2b other than a steel plate 4 for reinforcement and a jack 3 for excavation due to the contact of the jack 3 for excavation with the steel plate 4 for reinforcement installed on the pressure receiving face 2b with which the jack 3 for excavation of a shield tunnel on the ring joint surface 2a of the segment 2 comes into contact while the steel plate 4 for reinforcement protrudes from the joint surface 2a. Consequently, it is possible to prevent occurrence of crack and chipping of the segment 2 and prevent leakage of water by the steel plate 4 for reinforcement. When height of the segment beam is decided by thrust of the jack 3 for excavation, the height can be reduced.

      SOLUTION: According to the method, a plurality of additional brackets 5 is set on a side wall bracket 1a on an external course side of the tunnel curved section, so as to form an ascending gradient in a tunnel axial direction, and the additional brackets 5 are set on the side wall bracket 1a on an internal course side of the tunnel curved section, so as to form a descending gradient in a tunnel axial direction. Then a bearing portion 3a is set at an end on the external course side of the precast floor slab 3, so as to form the ascending gradient in the tunnel axial direction and borne by the additional brackets 5 on the external course side, and a bearing portion 3b is set at an end on the internal course side of the precast floor slab 3, so as to form the descending gradient in the tunnel axial direction and borne by the additional brackets 5 on the internal course side. Further an upper surface of the precast floor slab 3 is formed into a twisted surface so as to continuously connect between the end on the external course side forming the ascending gradient in the tunnel axial direction and the end on the internal course forming the descending gradient.

A plurality of male joints 3 and a plurality of female joints 4 which are fitted to each other are provided at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction of the segment ring 1 on pit mouth-side and face-side jointing surfaces of each of the segment rings 1, respectively. The number of the provided female joints 4 is larger than that of the provided male joints 3. The male joint 3 and the female joint 4 are fitted to each other.
