    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a sidewall and a connection structure of the sidewall and a segment for facilitating its construction work, preventing corrosion of a connection means, and providing excellent durability.
      SOLUTION: First of all, the ground is excavated to form a tunnel 1, and the segment 3b is provided on an internal wall of the tunnel 1. The segment 3b has recessed and projecting parts 13 on its inner face. Next, a pedestal 17 is installed in the tunnel 1, and a member 15a for forming the sidewall by units is provided on the segment 3b by using a crane 25 on the pedestal 17. Then, a form 35a is provided around the member 15a for forming the sidewall by units, and concrete is placed to construct the sidewall 5a. At this time, the pedestal 17 is used as an arch center. Since the sidewall 5a and the segment 3b resist fulcrum reaction force of a floor slab by shear capacity of the recessed and projecting parts 13 and bearing of the concrete of the sidewall, a process for mounting a dowel separately becomes unnecessary and the construction work is facilitated.

The main girder 5 comprises a main girder body 10 and connection parts 20 positioned at both ends thereof. The main girder body 10 is formed in an U shape including an outer side flange 11, an inner side flange 12, and a web 13. The connection part 20 comprises a connection step part 30 and a connection projection part 40. The connection step part 30 includes a step side connection plate 31 and a step side partition plate 32, and the connection plate 31 is provided with an engaging projection 33. The connection projection part 40 includes a projection side connection plate 41 and a projection side partition plate 42, and an engaging hole 43 is formed through the connection plate 41. Then, by relatively moving segments connected in a tunnel circumferential direction with each other in a tunnel axial direction while bringing them into surface contact on the joint plates 6 of each other, the engaging projection 33 of one segment is fitted to the engaging hole 43 of the other segment.
