    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective plate mounting structure having excellent workability capable of easily detaching a protective plate during the maintenance of a vehicle.
      SOLUTION: A small diameter part 22 is provided on a receiving face 20 side of a base 12, a stepped part 24 (a locked part) is formed between the small diameter part 22 and an inner circumferential wall 12A, and a claw part 34 of a clip 28 is locked to the stepped part 24. Since the claw part 34 may be locked to any part in the circumferential direction of the stepped part 24, the workability is excellent without any directivity. When the clip 28 is moved along the axis of the base 12, the claw part 34 is locked to the stepped part 24, and a protective plate 18 is held between an umbrella part 36 and the receiving face 20 of the base 12. In other words, when the protective plate 18 is mounted on a bottom face and a side face of a fuel tank 10, the working direction is set in one direction. The work becomes easy, and the protective plate 18 can be mounted even in a narrow space.
