      SOLUTION: The seat for the vehicle is provided with a height adjustment mechanism 30 for adjusting height of a seat body (seat cushion 51); and an inclination mechanism 10 for inclining the seat body (upper frame 31) to assist getting on/off of the occupant. An inclination angle of the seat body by the inclination mechanism 10 is changed in response to the height of the seat body adjusted by the height adjustment mechanism 30.
