    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonalize components of a bi-directional type door handle device with those of a unidirectional type door handle device.SOLUTION: In this vehicular door handle device, a connection link 122 is assembled on a link base 123 mountable at one end of a frame, rotatably at a base end 122a, and it is rockable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A leg 121b of a hand grip 121 is rotatably connected to a front end 122b of the connection link. Thus, the hand grip 121 is operable bi-directionally in the door opening direction and the door closing direction of the sliding door. The front end 122b of the connection link and the link base 123 are constructed to be integrally connectable, and the leg 121b of the hand grip 121 is constructed to be rotatable relative to the front end 122b of the connection link and the link base 123. Thus, the connection link 122 can be non-rockable and the hand grip 121 can be operable unidirectionally only.
