    • The invention relates to a hydraulic unit for slip-controlled brake systems, comprising a receiving body (48), intake valves (26-29) and discharge valves (41-44), a single cylindrical pump-accommodating borehole (53), and ducts for pressurizing means. In order to miniaturize the unit, the pump-accommodating borehole is disposed at a minimal distance from a first face (SS1) of the receiving body (48) and parallel to valve-accommodating boreholes (54, 54', 55, 55') such that an electric motor (31) which is arranged on a top side (OS) of the receiving body (48) and drives the pump (30) does not extend past the first face (SS1) while at least one main suction duct (77) and at least one main pressure duct (78) are provided, which originate at the pump-accommodating borehole (53) and are guided substantially parallel to each other in the direction of a second face (SS2) of the receiving body (48), said second face being located across from the first face (SS1) thereof.
