摘要： A system for amplifying a signal with active power management according to one embodiment includes a first digital to analog converter (DAC) circuit configured to provide a modulated carrier signal; a amplifier circuit coupled to the first DAC, where the amplifier circuit is configured to amplify the modulated carrier signal; an output stage circuit coupled to the amplifier circuit, where the output stage circuit is configured to provide the amplified signal to a network; a second DAC circuit configured to provide a full wave rectified envelope of the modulated carrier signal; and a switching regulator circuit including a voltage reference input coupled to the second DAC circuit, where the switching regulator circuit is configured to provide a supply voltage to the output stage circuit and the supply voltage is modulated in response to the envelope received at the voltage reference input.

摘要： Technologies for the sensing of biofeedback signals of a user include a body area network (BAN) system comprising one or more biofeedback sensors and one or more BAN controllers. The biofeedback sensors are configured to sense BAN signals, which may include biofeedback signals and body-coupled communication (BCC) signals. To facilitate communication, the biofeedback sensors may demultiplex the sensed BAN signals into biofeedback signals and incoming BCC signals. Similarly, the biofeedback sensors may multiplex outgoing BCC signals with sensed biofeedback signals. The BAN controller may communicate in a similar manner. Additionally, the BAN controller may process incoming BCC signals and provide feedback to the user based on BCC signals received from the biofeedback sensors.

摘要： A voltage to current converter comprises a first long tail pair comprising transistors whose emitters are connected via equal value resistors to a constant current source. The first long tail pair forms a main transconductance stage. A subsidiary or corrector transconductance stage is connected in anti-phase with the main stage. The corrector stage is based on another long tail pair comprising transistors whose emitters are connected via resistors to another constant current source. The linear part of the transconductance of the corrector stage is substantially less than that of the main stage but the non-linear part is substantially equal to that of the main stage. Thus, non-linear distortion can be substantially reduced.
