    • PURPOSE: To separate human body together with seat from motor car by a method wherein a solenoid is excited by shock sensed with either of microswitches equipped at front and rear bumpers and a slide lock is released by the excitation of the solenoid.
      CONSTITUTION: The microswitch 1 is fixed on a bracket 4 belonging to the car body so as to abut the actuator 7 of the switch 1 against the turned-up part 6 of a bracket 3 belonging to the bumper. The switch 1 is connected to the solenoid 14, the moving iron core part 16 of which is connected to the slide lock 15 and a pin 17. The solenoid 14 and a junction box 20 are mounted on a mounting plate 19 provided at a seat frame 18 arranging below the seat. When shock is sensed with the microswitch 1, the solenoid 14 is excited to release the slide lock 15, resulting in separating the human body together with the seat from the motor car. At this time, springs 21 and 22 protect the human body from the shock.
