摘要： A system or kit for creating readily changeable messages is provided. The system includes a plurality of letter boxes, a plurality of removably mountable and interchangeable letter panels (35) and a plurality of lights (40). Each letter box has an opening (144) for receiving a light (40) such that when the panel (35) is attached thereto, the panel (35) is backlit so that an image imprinted on the panel will be visually perceptible. The letter boxes can be arranged in any order to create any desired design or message. The message can be easily changed simply by moving the panel (35) and replacing it with another panel (35) having a different image thereon and/or adding or removing other letter boxes. The letter boxes are nestable within one another such that a kit including a plurality of letter boxes, lights and letter panels can be placed in a single package for shipping, sale and/or storage purpose.

Attached in substantially diametric opposition adjacent to one open end is at least one pair of separate legs (26) for rotation in the Y-axis. Each leg (26) is comprised of a bendable material and is capable of being bent, without any additional mechanism, into substantially any position and configuration in the X and Z-axis. A rotation mechanism and the adjustable and bendable legs (26) attached thereto allow each rotatable and bendable leg (26) to be rotated into a number of incremental positions in the Y-axis over a range of a full 360 DEG . 摘要： An electrical circuit for use with plural, low voltage loads such as a string of Christmas lights is disclosed comprising groups (36) of lights (34) placed electrically in a series circuit but the lights within each group are in parallel, preferably with a semiconductor device (38) in parallel with each group to limit current and voltage in the group. By suitable choice of bulb, group size and number of groups, a light string can be fashioned that uses about one third the power with much less heat production and without loss of brightness. The semiconductor device (38) can consist essentially of diodes such as two silica diodes (40) on either side of a Zener diode (42), or a custom bipolar device.
