    • A mounting apparatus for a light socket assembly comprises an extension body connectable with the light socket assembly. The extension body defines a first arcuate surface extending from the extension body. A clamping assembly has a second arcuate surface extending from the clamping assembly. The first arcuate surface and the second arcuate surface are each contoured to conform with and to pivotally contact each other, at least in part, with sufficient friction that the extension body and the clamping assembly are selectively positionable and pivotally movable relative to each other in response to intentional repositioning of the extension body and the clamping assembly relative to each other. The apparatus thus provides for mounting of a light socket assembly on a wide variety of environmental items, such as, for example, trees, eavestroughs and the like, and is particularly useful for mounting a string of wired festive lights, such as Christmas lights.

    • A neon tube lighting system, support apparatus and extrusion therefor is described for use in supporting neon tubing along a corner of a support surface. The support assembly (14) preferably comprises an extrusion (16), a reflector (18) and an elongate lens member (20).     • A lighting system (10) comprises a housing (12), suitable for mounting to a structural unit, the housing including a plurality of enclosure panels (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d). At least one light-bearing member (16, 16a, 16b, 16c, 16d, 16e, 16f) is moveable relative to each of the enclosure panels. An actuator (18) is in operable communication with the at least one light-bearing member, the actuator being operable to selectively: extend the light-bearing member from the housing into a display configuration; and retract the light- bearing member into the housing.     • A decorative illuminated artificial icicle assembly (10) having a lamp housing (30) having an open bottom end (44). An upright oriented elongated icicle-shaped body member (40) has its top end detachably secured to the open bottom end of the lamp housing (30). The outer diameter of the icicle-shaped body member at its top end is less than the width of the open bottom end of the lamp housing (30) to provide a light ray passage open space therebetween. A light source (35) is mounted in the lamp housing (30). The lamp housing (30) has a reflective inner surface (32) that directs light rays downwardly into the interior of the top end of the icicle-shaped body member (40) and also through the light ray passage open space to illuminate the outer surface of the icicle-shaped body member (40). The icicle-shaped body member may be tubular and have an aperture (44) in its bottom for draining moisture that condenses therein. A colored lens (54) positioned between the light source and the icicle-shaped body member can be used to vary the color of the illumination.
