    • The present invention discloses the continuous process for production of cellulose pulp from grass-like plant feedstock suitable for paper making. Process comprising the steps of: preparing the grass-like plant feedstock by comminuting, dedusting, continuous digestion, disperging, diluting the cellulose pulp, screening and fractionation, concentration to remove black liquor, dilution with fresh water, yielding final cellulose pulp suitable for manufacturing of paper or cellulose sheets, and, optionally, pulp bleaching processes. The continuous digestion is performed in the vertical column at 70-100 °C for 40 minutes to 2 hours; average composition of thus formed digestion suspension is maintained within the following ranges: 0.9-1.5% w/w of NaOH; 0.15-0.4% w/w of NaCl or Na 2 SO 3 ; and 15-18% w/w of grass-like plant feedstock; where concentrations of ingredients being calculated on the weight of the liquid phase. Screening and fractionation are resulting with two fractions; one being further processed by milling, and another being further processed to final pulp with or without bleaching processes. The preferred grass-like feedstock for the process is miscanthus /Miscanthus x giganteus, Andersson/.

    • The invention relates to the paper pulp industry, specifically to a process for preparing a pulp cooking solution used for obtaining a fibrous semi-finished product. This involves saturating a solution of sodium carbonate in waste water obtained from the biological purification of paper industry effluent with a concentration of surplus active sludge of 18-40 g/l, having a sodium carbonate concentration of 1.55-2.5 wt.% in units of Na2O, or an alkaline hydrolysate obtained by treating waste water obtained from the biological purification of paper industry effluent with a concentration of surplus active sludge of 18-40 g/l with a mixed base containing 50-90 wt.% sodium carbonate and 10-50 % calcium oxide, in a quantity of 1.55-2.50 wt.% per unit Na2O at a temperature of 25-40 DEG C with subsequent removal of the solid precipitate, at a temperature of 35-45 DEG C until it accounts for 2.5-5.5 wt.% of the cooking mixture. The proposed process significantly increases the yield of fibrous semi-finished product and improves its physical and mechanical indicators. It also permits the use of waste obtained from the biological purification of paper industry effluent and widens the range of raw materials which can be used to produce pulp cooking solutions.
