摘要： Methods to preserve starch present in pulp are provided and also methods to control calcium precipitation and/or scaling in digesters or BOD systems. The methods can be performed as part of a papermaking process. Process water containing pulp can be treated with a chloramine. Process water containing pulp with native starch can receive a double treatment with at least one biocide, such as chloramine, and at least one oxidant, such as sodium hypochlorite. The treatment can be performed in any suitable manner. The treatment can be performed at one or more stages or locations in a papermaking system. A target residual chloramine value or range can be achieved by the treatment. Packaging sheets/boards and other paper products manufactured using the methods provided exhibit superior strength and other desirable characteristics.

摘要： Process for defibering a fibrous raw-material. According to the process a raw-material is contacted with a pulping liquor that contains an organic solvent for producing a defibrated fibrous raw-material. Cooking liquor contains by its weight about 0.01 to 10 % of hypo-phosphoric acid or corresponding reducing phosphoric acid derivative. A remarkable high yield is obtained by the process and cooking has been noted to have an effect activating the fibrous material. The fibrous material has good mechanical properties, it reacts easily with functionalizing enzymes and it is easily hydrolysable in to sugars e.g. by means of enzymes.

摘要： A oxidative solution (Ox-B, a solution of no less than 5:1 sodium hypochlorite: hydrogen peroxide) was found to remove both lignin and hemicellulose from sugarcane bagasse. After treatment the cellulosic residue readily separated from the lignin and hemicellulose by sedimentation. The residue (the pulp) contained up to 80% by weight cellulose, and was easily degradable by cellulase enzyme. A treatment of oxidation with low concentrations of Ox-B, followed by a caustic wash, produced a cellulose residue that was able to be almost completely hydrolyzed to simple sugars by cellulase. Due to the low amount chemical used and the efficiency of the degradation, this process has commercial potential.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for converting lignocellulosic biomass into sugars, comprising at least three steps. The first step is a step of cooking the lignocellulosic biomass in the presence of at least one hydrated inorganic salt. The second step is a step of separating at least one solid fraction having undergone the cooking step, and the third step is a step of enzymatic hydrolysis of said solid fraction so as to convert the polysaccharides into monosaccharides. The resulting sugars are then able to be fermented into alcohols.

摘要： The present invention discloses the continuous process for production of cellulose pulp from grass-like plant feedstock suitable for paper making. Process comprising the steps of: preparing the grass-like plant feedstock by comminuting, dedusting, continuous digestion, disperging, diluting the cellulose pulp, screening and fractionation, concentration to remove black liquor, dilution with fresh water, yielding final cellulose pulp suitable for manufacturing of paper or cellulose sheets, and, optionally, pulp bleaching processes. The continuous digestion is performed in the vertical column at 70-100 °C for 40 minutes to 2 hours; average composition of thus formed digestion suspension is maintained within the following ranges: 0.9-1.5% w/w of NaOH; 0.15-0.4% w/w of NaCl or Na 2 SO 3 ; and 15-18% w/w of grass-like plant feedstock; where concentrations of ingredients being calculated on the weight of the liquid phase. Screening and fractionation are resulting with two fractions; one being further processed by milling, and another being further processed to final pulp with or without bleaching processes. The preferred grass-like feedstock for the process is miscanthus /Miscanthus x giganteus, Andersson/.
