    • In order to produce toothings on workpieces (2), a machine tool (1) comprises a machine bed (3), a pivot element (7) having at least two workpiece spindles (18, 19) arranged thereon, and a tool-positioning unit (16) having a tool head (17) arranged thereon. The at least two workpiece spindles (18, 19) can be pivoted relative to the machine bed (3) about a workpiece spindle pivot axis (10) and each comprise a workpiece receptacle (20, 21) that can be driven about a rotation axis (24, 25) in a rotary manner. The tool head (17) can be moved linearly in three directions relative to the at least two workpiece spindles (18, 19) and can be pivoted about a tool head pivot axis (37). A mounting element (8), which extends in the direction of the workpiece spindle pivot axis (10) and the free end (11) of which is mounted on a reinforcement element (13) such that said free end can pivot about the workpiece spindle pivot axis (10), is arranged fixedly on the pivot element (7). The reinforcement element (13) is fastened to the machine bed (3).
