摘要： In order e.g. to provide a connection for connecting shafts in a wind turbine which is able to withstand a torque of a modern wind turbine, while still being relatively inexpensive,simple and effective to use, there is disclosed a connection including a first shaft and a second shaft which are inter-connectable by connecting an interconnection part of the first shaft and an interconnection part of the second shaft, and a shrinkable disk positioned and adapted so as to lock the first shaft to the second shaft by providing pressure to the interconnection parts of the first and second shaft when the interconnection parts are interconnected, and where the interconnection part of each of the first and second shafts comprises a plurality of friction surfaces transferring moment between the first and second shafts by friction.

摘要： The object of this invention is to provide a reinforcing bar coupling used to easily, simply, quickly and mechanically butt-joint two reinforcing bars to each other for use in reinforced concrete construction. The reinforcing bar coupling consists of a cylindrical sleeve (2) axially receiving two reinforcing bars (1) through two inlets (20), with an uneven interior surface (22) formed in the sleeve (2) to correspond to the ribs (11) formed around the external surface of the bars (1). A plurality of wedges (4) are set in the gap between the bars (1) and the sleeve (2). The internal surface of the sleeve (2) and the external surface of the bars (1) with the wedges (4) are radially compressed to butt-joint the two bars (1) by the coupling.

Another configuration of the inventive device would be intended for the retention (under load, of course) of only one reinforcing bar, with an enlarged flange for anchoring the end of one reinforcing bar, perhaps at and outer surface of, e.g., a concrete slab.
