    • The apparatus for fastening a mounting rail (20) to a threaded shaft (30) comprises a holding element (1), a clamping element (2) and two nuts (3, 4). The holding element (1) comprises a support surface (7) for a support side (21) of the mounting rail (20) and further a gripping extension (8), which protrudes with respect to the support surface (7) and is designed to latch over a holding edge (22) of the mounting rail (20). The threaded shaft (30) penetrates the holding element (1) in a first elongated hole (5) and it penetrates the clamping element (2) in a second elongated hole (6). Both elongated holes (5, 6) are oriented transversely to the mounting rail (20). The holding element (1) and the clamping element (2) are disposed axially between the two nuts (3, 4) engaged in the threaded shaft (30) and can be braced together by way of said nuts at different positions along the threaded shaft (30). Bracing them together causes the clamping element (2) and the mounting rail (20) to move closer together. For this purpose, the holding element (1) comprises a plurality of consecutively disposed bracing slopes (9a...9d), which ascend uniformly as the distance to the mounting rail (20) increases and on which the clamping element (2) can slide down by way of corresponding counter slopes (10a...10d). When the nuts (3, 4) are braced with respect to each other, the clamping element (2) clamps the mounting rail (20) against the gripping extension (8) and the gripping extension (8) holds it down on the support surface (7).

    • Having increasingly larger module formats, the known installation systems no longer sufficiently meet the manufacturing and installation requirements of industrial photovoltaic systems. The novel installation system is intended to gently and reliably hold large-scale frameless thin-film modules, while taking high wind and snow loads into account.
