    • A fuel heating apparatus (10) includes a fuel filter head (22) having an upper side, a fuel inlet (38) and a fuel outlet (48). A fuel filter (20) is disposed on the fuel filter head (22) including an unfiltered fuel plenum (28) and a filtered fuel plenum (30) inside the fuel filter (20). A heating element (42) is disposed inside the filtered fuel plenum (30) inside the fuel filter (20). One or more temperature sensors (60) are included inside the fuel filter (20) in some embodiments. The heating element (42) and temperature sensor (60) are connected to a thermostat (64) to regulate the temperature inside the fuel filter (20) to prevent gelling of fuel. Additionally, in some embodiments, a heat exchanger (110) is disposed on the fuel line between the fuel tank and the engine. A working thermal fluid passes through the heat exchanger (110) in thermal contact with the fuel. Heat transfer between the working thermal fluid and the fuel preheats the fuel prior to delivery to the engine.

    • A cartridge assembly (10) for a filtration assembly of a fluid (1) comprises a filter cartridge (100) having a main axis (X-X). The filter cartridge (100) comprises a filter medium (110) defining a cavity (110') and is traversed by the fluid from the inside outwards. The filter medium (110) comprises a plurality of filter layers (111, 112) comprising a first electrically conductive layer (111), to control the temperature thereof so as to heat the fluid traversing it, facing the cavity (110'). The cartridge assembly (10) comprises at least one separate annular element (10), elastically yielding, housed in the cavity (110') in a contact configuration in which it performs a radial contact action on the first layer (111) identifying an electrical contact between the annular element (150) and the first layer (111).
