    • An inertial separator (172) includes an inlet portion connected to a y-junction (179) having a first conduit (180) fluidly extending therefrom and a second conduit (182) fluidly extending therefrom. A separator wall (184) is disposed between and along at least a portion of the first and second conduits. The separator wall (184) has a tip (185) extending into the y-junction (179) between an inlet to the first conduit (180) and an inlet to the second conduit (182). An acute angle (α) is formed between a major longitudinal dimension of the separator wall (184) and the inlet portion centerline, and a ramp (186) is formed adjacent the second end of the generally straight inlet portion, upstream of the y-junction (179) in a direction of airflow from the inlet opening (170) towards the first and second outlets. During operation, debris entering the inlet portion is separated from an airflow and exits the through the second conduit (182) while air exits through the first conduit (180).

    • An adsorber assembly (206) for separating contaminants, such as siloxanes, from air is provided. The adsorber assembly (206) includes a housing (302) having an inlet (208) and an outlet (214). The adsorber assembly (206) also includes at least one separation module (210) stacked within the housing (302). The at least one separation module (210) includes a first cartridge (308) having a first filter media (310) configured to separate contaminants from the air and a second cartridge (314) having a second filter media (316) configured to separate contaminants from the air. The second cartridge (314) and the first cartridge (308) define a flow path (318) between the first filter media (310) and the second filter media (316). The flow path (318) is in fluid communication with the inlet (208) of the housing (302). The present disclosure also provides an air intake system equipped with the adsorber assembly (206).
